Hello 3rd Graders!
My name is Alesha Thornton. I will be your reading and Language Arts teacher! I LOVE to read and write, and to share my love with you!
I grew up in Gatesville, have lived in a couple of small towns, and now I'm back! This will be my second year in Gatesville, and my 15th year of teaching.
My husband is a varsity football and track coach for Gatesville ISD. We have three kids: Jaelee, 6th grade; Jett, 2nd grade; and Judson, kindergarten.
When not teaching, I love spending time with my family, whether that is attending ball games, traveling, or baking together. I also love photography!
My goal is to have FUN while learning everything we need to know about being a successful student, friend, citizen, and lifelong learner. I can't wait to spend the year with you!
