I teach at the public school because of the fulfillment in being a part of a child's education. They are the future , and I strive to be a positive influence on them each day.  I am a wife, mother and grandmother.  I have been teaching for 19 years.
Please call the school at 254-865-7262 or email me with any questions or concerns you may have.  Your child's daily Learning Log Planner is also a great way to communicate any important information.  I check these daily.  Lunch is from 11:45-12:15. My conference time is from 12:15-1:15 each day. Call the school to schedule a conference any day you need to meet with me. I am looking forward to a great year!

Dear Parents,

I pray everyone is healthy and safe! I miss all your kids so much! I am sending Mrs. Webb's email she sent out this morning along with the Home Learning Links for this week.

Mrs. Phillips

Dear Elementary Parents,

As you have probably now heard, Governor Abbott has closed Texas school buildings for the remainder of the 19-20 school year due to Covid 19. Though our doors may be shut, we are not closed for learning. We will continue to provide new instruction each week to help keep your child on track. The district will release a plan soon on picking up student supplies, etc. We know this is a difficult time for many of our students and families and we are here to help in any way we can. We miss you and cannot wait to see you in person again soon! Keegan Webb

April 2 Update on Home Learning

I hope you are all staying safe and well! Next week  we will begin a format of video lessons and on line assignments for reading and math. New material will be covered.  Print copies will still be available at the campus in the foyer of the same instruction and assignments that are on-line for all who do not have access to the electronic lessons. We expect students to complete one assignment in math and one in reading and put these in a drop box at the campus before Monday of the next week.  For your convenience and safety the front air-lock foyer will be open daily from 7:30 - 4:30 to pick up and drop off work.  If you are in need of supplies or books these are available on a table in the foyer.  At the beginning of next week any work you have completed so far can also be dropped off at the campus.

March 31st At Home Learning/supplies

I really miss seeing the student's smiling faces each day.  I pray y'all  stay safe and well.  Three meals are provided each day at the school. If you need school supplies there's a table set up inside the foyer. It is open during meal pick up times. Below are links for learning and news for this week.  Please contact me through email if you have any questions.

Learning support from your teacher

Dear Students and Parents,
Students will not be coming to school because of school closing for health safety reasons. Please stay tuned into local TV channels for specific dates of closing. There are many ways students can continue to learn at home. Paper handout can be picked up from school each week. READ every day, and read from a variety of resources.  Students also need to daily practice MATH by continuing their addition and subtraction skills, by adding and subtracting numbers up to three digits, 999.  Cursive handwriting can also be practiced at home.  Mrs. Cole's web page can also be accessed from the GISD web page for more math and reading sites to use at home. The school will provide bagged breakfast, lunch and dinner to all students during specific times throughout the school day.   I hope you enjoy the websites I have listed on my web page. You may have to scroll down to see them.  I miss you all!
