Welcome to Gatesville Elementary!

Each day, I get to walk into a building where the passion for our students' well-being is contagious. Our amazing staff pours their hearts into making sure students feel safe and supported, because when they feel secure, that's when the real learning happens. Seeing the joy on their faces and that spark in their eyes when they learn something new--that's what it's all about for me.

Being the principal here at Gatesville Elementary is a true honor, especially because of our students.  Watching them grow and succeed in this nurturing environment we've built is incredibly rewarding. And working alongside our staff – the heart of our school – is something I'm eager to continue. You can feel the caring atmosphere the second you walk through our doors. 

This year, my focus is clear: ensuring every student feels safe, valued, and genuinely encouraged to shine both academically and personally. We will be introducing new and innovative teaching strategies through professional development opportunities, and I am eager to strengthen our collaborations with families and the broader community. Ultimately, my goal is for our students to excel academically, socially, and emotionally. Our students are our future, and I can't wait to see all the incredible things they're going to achieve. I believe that by working together, we can make this an exceptional year of growth and success for every child.
